Ms. Lal Biak Chhuangi is a faithful disciple of the Presbyterian Church of Myanmar. She has taught at local seminaries, worked in HIV/AIDS care and counseling, and served with the Social Development department of the Myanmar Council of Churches, and has volunteered with the Presbyterian Church, USA, in multi-cultural ministries to new immigrants. Her doctoral research focuses on interfaith dialogue in the context of religious extremism within a Buddhist majority country. Her goal is to equip the church for mission globally and locally, communicating Christ in and beyond Myanmar as a part of fulfilling Jesus’ great commission.
