Michael Hahn is a writer and editor with works featured in Water~Stone Review, Southeast Review, Colorado Review, phoebe, Northwest Review, and The Los Angeles Review Online, among others. He holds an M.Div. From Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and an MFA from Pacific University. His essays have been nominated for The Pushcart Prize and listed in The Best American Essays 2023. Originally from Southern California, Michael has written about identity, belonging, and race as inflected by his upbringing as a second generation Korean American. Currently based in the Washington, D.C. area, he works for a nonprofit community developer focused on affordable and equitable housing in the City of Alexandria.
